Privacy notice

What we store, who sees it, how to remove it.

Talent pool profiles. When you register, we store your name, email, headline, and any profile details you add: bio, location, skills, Cooper role mappings, portfolio links, indicative day rate, availability, and your CV. This information exists so Cooper Agile can match you to delivery teams (FORTs).

Who can see it. Your profile and CV are visible to the Cooper Agile team only. We do not publish candidate profiles, and we do not share your details with clients or third parties without asking you first.

Technical review requests. If you submit a technical review request, we store your name, email, company, the system type, your message, and any platform picks you ticked — all so we can scope and respond to the review. We send an instant confirmation email, and at most two genuinely useful follow-up emails over the following days (you can opt out by replying, and we never add you to a mailing list). General enquiries from the contact page get the confirmation only — no follow-up sequence.

Programme configurations. If you build a sample MARCH, BASTION or CITADEL charter, we store the contact details and programme, formation, priority, deployment, on-site and context choices you submit so we can respond with an appropriate scope. This is an enquiry, not an accepted quote or SLA. You receive a branded confirmation only — not the technical-review nurture sequence.

Careers expressions of interest. We store your name, email, chosen seat, location/working-arrangement note, portfolio or CV link and covering note so a person can review your interest. This form does not upload a CV file, publish your details or make an automated hiring decision. Careers enquiries receive a confirmation only; they are not added to a mailing list or review-nurture flow.

Cooper guided conversations. If you explicitly start Cooper on the scope or Foot Soldier journey, your messages are processed by our configured AI inference provider and stored in a private Mattermost conversation visible to authorised Cooper staff. Do not enter passwords, secret keys or sensitive personal details. Abandoned conversations are permanently deleted after 7 days, closed-off conversations after 1 day, and conversations linked to a submitted enquiry or candidate profile after 90 days. Starting a conversation does not create an enquiry or account: that happens only when you separately submit and consent to the relevant form. Deleting chat history does not delete a lead or candidate account; use the controls below for that.

Your controls. You can update or correct your profile at any time in the talent portal. To delete your profile, CV, account, or any enquiry you've sent, email [email protected] and we will remove it.

Where your data lives. Data is stored on servers in South Africa and handled in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers that deliver this site and its emails.

Security. Access to your account is protected by your password and short-lived access tokens; refresh tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies. CV files are stored on our server and served only to authenticated sessions.
